Madison Hildebrand
Hello! I want to welcome you to my digital portfolio, and introduce myself. My name is Madison Hildebrand, and I am a senior at The Ohio State University. I am currently in my fourth year of the Interior Design Program here. I am from North Royalton, Ohio, a small town just 30 minutes south of Cleveland. I started my college journey at the Ohio State University Mansfield campus, and then took the leap to main campus after one year. My original major was Nursing, and after some thoughtful conversations with an art professor, we both saw the potential I had as a creative.
I've taken my time at Ohio State very seriously, maintaining a 3.77 GPA, making dean's list almost every semester, and even winning some design contests. My education here has taught me the Adobe Creative Suite, Revit, Sketch Up, and Enscape. At Ohio State we mainly used Revit for projects, but my internship worked exclusively with Sketch Up so I have good experience with this as well. I have worked with both extremely creative, hypothetical projects, and also real projects that are now in the process being built, and I feel lucky to be able to have seen both sides.
I have been an IIDA member for the past few years, going to the various design events and learning new and creative content. I have recently become an ASID member as well, after getting the opportunity to go to the GATHER conference.
