Every year, the company Framery holds a competition with Ohio State students to design a custom wrap for one of their Framery Pods. This design is intended to honor the spirit of Ohio State in a unique and creative way. My custom design was picked as the winner in 2022, and has been made and placed into a building on our campus for students to use.
This is my final graphic submission for the project. My concept was connected to my experience at Ohio State. With over 66,000 students roaming the campus of Ohio State, it becomes easy to feel out of place, and lonely. My Framery Q Pod Design is a development of this idea, that so many new people may surround you, but when you look closer, you can find where you belong and who feels at home. In the center of my design, I chose to use photos of actual students from Ohio State to create an abstract contour drawing of their faces, surrounded by a barrier of a scarlet outline. This scarlet outline ties in the university colors, along with symbolizing the heart of the university, where you find yourself and break out of that comfort zone.
